Whole seconds still balance exactly

Some workloads do not divide evenly. If 10,001 seconds are spread across three days, the base portion is 3,333 seconds with two seconds left. The first two days receive 3,334 seconds and the last receives 3,333. The dated table sums exactly to 10,001 rather than losing seconds through repeated rounding.

For ordinary display, those portions are 55:34, 55:34, and 55:33. A one-second difference is mathematical distribution, not a meaningful learning distinction. The page explains the rounding rule so the total can be audited.

Buffer days are not automatic holidays

The Reserve buffer watch days field removes a count from the end of available capacity; it does not know which particular date will be missed. If exact exception dates matter, maintain them in a calendar outside the launch tool and recalculate the usable count. The result is a planning table, not a synced schedule.

A buffer can absorb illness, competing work, platform changes, or an underestimated module. It can also remain unused. The calculator does not recommend a buffer size. Reserve it only when it matches the planning decision.

Compare the goal with a daily ceiling

After calculating, compare the goal with an independent daily cap. If the example’s 2:15 goal exceeds a 1:30 cap, the deadline plan is infeasible under both constraints. Options include starting earlier, using more eligible weekdays, reducing optional workload, releasing the buffer, or changing the deadline when possible.

Playback speed can reduce media time but may affect comprehension or accessibility. Do not treat faster speed as an automatic fix. Calculate it separately, include notes and breaks where appropriate, and update the remaining workload only after accepting the revised assumption.

Deadline facts can change

The workload is a manual snapshot. Videos can be added or removed, and actual progress can differ from plan. Update the remaining-time calculation after each meaningful study period rather than subtracting the scheduled daily goal automatically. A partly completed day should reduce the workload by what was actually watched or studied.

The calendar window uses local dates without time zones, holidays, or reminders. It cannot interpret institutional deadlines that specify a time of day. Confirm the real deadline at the authoritative source.

No calendar or account connection

The browser enumerates dates locally. It does not read a calendar, create events, inspect a course, access watch history, or send a daily goal to YouTube. Inputs and the dated table disappear on reset or closure unless the user copies them.

Use neutral copied labels when privacy matters. The formula requires workload and dates, not a playlist title, class, institution, or account.
